I&I successfully achieves ISO/IEC 27001 certification

We are proud to announce that I&I has successfully achieved ISO 27001 certification, the international standard that defines the requirements for planning, implementing, monitoring and improving the information security management system of companies.

This goal, achieved thanks to constant teamwork, is a step forward that allows us to further improve the quality of services and to offer our customers an internationally recognized certificate of trust.

What is the ISO 27001 standard?

ISO/IEC 27001 is the international standard, promoted by the ISO (International Organization for Standardization) and by the IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) which defines the requirements for an Information Security Management System (ISMS) and is designed to guarantee the selection of security controls suitable for the management, monitoring and improvement of data security, in order to ensure the continuity of the business.

Having a correct information security management system means having all the security measures, ensuring the data in the following terms:

• Confidentiality: so that information is accessible only to authorized users
• Integrity: to prevent undue, accidental or fraudulent changes to information
• Availability: to ensure that users can access data on the basis of their specific enabling profiles in times that are congruent with their operational needs

Therefore, the standard constitutes a structured and impartial system which certifies the maximum efficiency in organizational management and information security technologies and which describes a set of best practices at the level of policies, procedures, processes, physical and technical measures.

The I&I certification process

We have chosen to undertake the ISO 27001 certification process in order to offer our customers an effective information management system and guarantee high levels of quality and safety.

During the certification process, the processes and procedures relating to information security were validated, highlighting how our security checks are carried out regularly and with an adequate technical-quality level, in accordance with the requirements of the standard.

An objective proof, therefore, of a punctual and organized approach to security, which allows us to provide our customers with a series of competitive advantages aimed at protecting and developing the business.
