Internet & Idee attending India-Italy Technology Summit | New Delhi on 29-30 October 2018
Italy participates as a partner at this year's Technology Summit, which will be held in New Delhi on October 29th and 30th.
The event is organized by the Indian Department of Science and Technology (DST) and the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).
The Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte confirmed participation along with the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The CEO of Internet & Idee, Carlo Stumpo, will take part in the summit, which represents an opportunity to deepen the opportunities for industrial and scientific cooperation for those Italian companies with a strong propensity for collaboration and that are engaged in high value-added sectors.
During the Summit, the Italian Ambassador in India Lorenzo Angeloni will hold a meeting on October 29th at his residence. At the invitation of the Ambassador, Internet & Idee will attend the meeting in order to deepen and strengthen relations with the other members of the Italian delegation.
The initiative focuses on the following sectors:
ICT: AI, cyber security, data science Telecom & broadband, e-commerce, IC manufacturing, VLSI, IOT;
Aerospace: satellites, spacecraft and related services aeronautical industry, security, airports;
Cleantech: waste & water mgm., energy efficiency, clean energy fuel cells, storage batteries, hydrogen energy;
Renewables: resources for renewable energy smart grids;
Healthcare: hospitals and infrastructures, diagnostics, medical devices health 4.0, new frontiers, genomics, robotics;
Cultural heritage: conservation and restoration technologies, tourism museums and art galleries;
Education: mobility and exchange, recognition of qualifications, traineeship in research, university / industry relations and technology transfer.

The Summit will grant the opportunity for Internet & Idee to build strategic partnerships with prestigious global companies in some of the most innovative sectors of the ICT market. The goal is to integrate the company's know-how into a major international context that projects Internet & Idee on the Asian markets.
